État d’urgence, manifestation, confrontation.
Autant de moments où la Police se retrouve
avec un pouvoir et une force démesurée face
aux citoyens.
Dans cette pièce j’ai voulu confronter
deux notions contraires: le pacifisme et la
violence, rencontrées dans de nombreuses manifestations. Je vois de plus en plus de manifestations emmurées par des cordons
de police, bouclier au bras, encadrant des
manifestants non hostiles.
Le bouclier de police est la frontiere materielle
entre les deux parties. Le mariage des deux
concepts donne vie à cet objet hybride. Il
donne lieux au doute.

So many times when the Police meet
with inordinate power and strength in the face
